BCCC announces spring registration schedule

Beaufort County Community College announces its registration schedule for Spring Semester which is scheduled to begin January 5, 2012.

Dates and deadlines for enrolling and registering are as follows:

• October 31 – Registration begins for returning students who have applied for graduation, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• November 1 – Registration begins for all other returning students, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• November 2 – Registration for returning students and New Student Orientation followed by registration for students attending an orientation session, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• November 3 – Continued registration for new and returning students, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• November 4 — Continued registration for new and returning students, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• December 7 – Deadline to pay tuition for Spring 2012 semester.
• January 4 – Late registration, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• January 5 – First day of classes.
• January 5, 6, 9 and 10 ― Drop/add at Registrar’s Office.

New students may apply to enroll in BCCC at the Admissions Office in Building 9 on the BCCC campus or on the BCCC website at www.beaufortccc.edu.

Tuition and fees at Beaufort County Community College are established by the N.C. General Assembly and the N.C. Board of Community Colleges. In July 2011, tuition for in-state students was set at $66.50 per credit hour and student fees at $2 per credit hour for a total of $68.50 per credit hour. Tuition for out-of-state students was set at $258.50 per credit hour and student fees at $2 per credit hour for a total of $260.50.

Any student who has overdue library materials or who is delinquent in the payment of any fees, fines, or other obligations to the college will not be permitted to complete the registration process until the student has satisfactorily resolved the situation.
